I Want To Read by Betty Wright is a fantastic young children's story. It is very simple and easy to read. The story follows a young girl who has just figured out how to read, and the possibilities and opportunities she now finds herself in feel endless! She is sharing all the cool things she can do now that she can read, and at the end of the story she explains how great it will be when you can read to! Easy read and great to work on reading aloud.
