I was impressed with this introduction to development theories. It is very readable, and I found the way it was organized made it easy to compare and contrast theorists and get a good understanding of each one.
I also appreciated the suggestions for further reader on different perspectives and theorists, and I enjoyed many of the recommended articles.
I would highly recommend this as an intro book on human and child development theory (or if you’re just looking for a refresher on things you learned about way back in college)!
