Shooter in the Shadows

Rate this book
This thoroughly enjoyable story follows the fortunes of the dashing and exciting entrepreneur Michel Trebeh as an outside interest in archaeology leads inevitably to a key discovery. He is the owner of Secure Span, one of the major global security providers. The American twins Tom and Edward Scallion want him dead. And it is not just past debts they are trying to renege on. However, Chen, a martial arts master and the man behind the White Sock Guard, a powerful secret society, is determined not only to protect Michel but to take the law into his own hands. Meanwhile, there is a hint of apprehension as the virtuous May Franks, a computer science graduate, arrives in central London to take up a post with Secure Span. There she finds herself drawn into a world of intrigue and uncertainty. And as danger gathers around her, Michel invites her into his life, then into his heart.

Terrible

Lost for words, has to be the worst book I’ve ever read. A farcical plot with farcical characters, very poor.
