The book describes such an exotic place with such curious residents, a mere 100 years ago from our time, I could hardly believe some of the stories. If they weren't so incredibly bizarre and impossible to be fake, I would have suspected the author of making things up. So I deem it a pretty truthful description of a time and place which I honestly think should be the next stop of Gulliver's Travels.
