No wedding dress book can tell every reader exactly what will be right for them. However, this book explains all the different parts of a wedding dress, and illustrates many of the options.

Sections include:
-- Anatomy - silhouette, bodice, neckline, waistline, sleeves, skirt, train, fabric, lace, embellishment, colour, dress portraits.
-- Shopping - finding yourself, taking stock, where to shop, shopping tips, decision time, your order, your fittings.
-- Accessories - veil & headpiece, gloves, underpinnings & hosiery, shoes, bouquet, bridesmaids, the groom.
-- Dressing - pre-wedding prep, getting dressed, bustling around, getting undressed.

I loved this book. It helped me to narrow down my preferences and create a unique dress which was perfect for me.

Kind of like a visual dictionary for all the technical terms you hear when talking about dresses (sweetheart neckline, A-line skirt, bodice, train, etc). Good for someone with zero fashion knowledge such as myself.

Very pretty book that talks about wedding gowns. Doesn't really say too much, though, but the pictures are nice.
