Snoopy is helping Charlie Brown write a report about Mars when he begins to daydream. In his daydream, Snoopy himself travels to Mars hoping to beat another dog, Rover to the red planet. I liked that facts were sprinkled throughout somewhat naturally.
I did not like the competition Snoopy seeks with Rover because with way it was present was a little confusing. I get that introducing Rover would’ve ruin the joke that the story sets up for, but a joke doesn’t work for me if it has you feeling confused for a few pages first.
