An introduction to Atelier Luma's hyperlocal, collaborative approach to design research and material fabrication. Focus on a handful of projects around Arles and the Camargue where the studio is located, utilizing local algae, salt, agriculture waste as textiles, and more in close collaboration with local industry and academia in service. The overall mission is building local circular economic practices and they take the economy part seriously with an emphasis on creating local jobs.
