I honestly got a stack of adult ceramics books out at the same time but the Kids ‘n’ clay is more my speed 🤣 A great basic manual for terms, techniques and projects!

This book is intended for elementary school students. I think this book is much more useful for teachers. It has plenty of project ideas broken down by the way they are built. It would be useful to present the how –to instructions to students or leave copies out for them to reference. Otherwise I would keep this book around as a reference in my classroom, but I can’t see a student reading this on their own. The text is clear and easy to follow. The pictures are bright and inspiring. Overall, I like this book as a ceramics teacher, more than as a reading teacher.
