Concept of division is introduced first time in Grade 2. Division is another very basic building block of Mathematics and your child will need to apply it in higher mathematical problem solving and higher standards.
Firstly, your child will understand and visualise the concept of division. He will learn to divide(distribute) through equal grouping and repeated subtraction.
Later, we introduce the symbol of division and a division fact to the child. And, then he will learn the relationship between multiplication and division through grouping activity. We will now formally introduce the terminologies of division like dividend, quotient and remainder to him.
Now he learns to do long division with and without remainder. He also learns what is meant by remainder through grouping activity again.

How to use?
-Please let your child attempt only one sheet in a day.

-Help child understand the concept using given solved example before start doing the worksheet.
-Guide your child to match answer from answer sheet given in the end of the worksheet package.
-Help your child go through have foot notes for better understanding.
-Encourage your child to colour the objects in the black and white worksheets.
