The pioneers of the motion picture industry were a group of uncommonly talented men, women, and children. Their stories of what it was like to make a movie in the silent era are illuminating glimpses into an era that fades with every passing year. Nice interesting easy read. Great pictures. Details were just right. Sometimes books about silent films can get too bogged down with boring details. Very respectful interviews with the stars too! Their personalities came right through!
