When Dan Parmalee, a drifter, gambler, and gunman, agrees to take rancher Ted Shea's herd of prime beef to Kansas in exchange for some much-needed cash, all bets are off when he comes face-to-face with rustlers and a gang of cutthroats. Original.

Can this marriage be saved? Not sure. Don't care. Laura's a bimbo and Ted's a heck of a nice guy who deserves better. They don't seem to like each other and you know if you fast forwarded this story 100 years they'd be on divorce court. Fortunately Ted is not the hero of the book . Dan Parmalee is the hero. What kind of a western name is Parmalee anyway. Aren't western hero's supposed to have names like Reilly or Casey or Mc something. That not withstanding this is a well written story and a good example of the genre.
A Trail Drive Western./Montana to Texas/Cowboys, Outlaws, and Indians
THE has penned a western novel about a retired gun fighter who attempted to avoid trouble when it came. The gun fighter enlists with the underdog, his wife and child, a girl, who are attempting to get away from the wife's father, an overbearing rich man who hired people to do his dirty work. This is a good read for the genre.....DEHS
This book has it all. OI really enjoyed the reading, couldn't wait to turn the page to see what happened next. There was action and a whole lot more. I really recommend this to any reader that enjoys a good western.
Randisi writes good western material. I read for pleasure, not information. I also read for relaxation and to fill up my retirement time. Blood Trail provided a good resource for both. The only negative about the book is that it wasn't long enough. I recommend this and all other Randish books to everyone who likes to read for the reasons I do and anyone who enjoys western drama.
