Every April I find projects for the month in April Patterns, Projects and Plans to Perk Up Early Learning Programs. April is the perfect time for planting seeds in clear plastic cups, plastic bags attached to windows and sending home seedlings for the children's home gardens that we start in the classroom. April is the time to plant flowers too so we make starts in the classroom to send home for the students to transplant; the favorite being the sunflower. This is part of a set of book with ideas for each month and all are wonderful references for ideas in the early childhood classroom.
