Invisible Girl is the last to fall as the Fantastic Four have been defeated at the hands of Klaw. Reed Richards is his old competitor in the science field. Klaw focused on sound while Reed did not and thus was overshadowed. He showed everyone how deadly sound could be. However it altered his molecular structure and he’s no longer a man. He rips the head off of the thing. It’s reveled this was a simulated battle. He says they are formidable as a team but if he starts strongest to weakest and catches them one by one they can’t beat him. The Thing has helped a civilian fix his truck when suddenly Klaw approaches him and fires him into a building. Johnny is doing an air show with the blue angels. As soon as the show finishes Klaw attacks the the ships and Johnny. He then goes for Reed. Reed is working on a cure for Ben to change back to normal when suddenly a machine turns on. He turns around to see Klaw attack him leaving him badly wounded. He says Reed was his only rival and now it’s time for Sue. He looks for Sue when suddenly she appears right in front of him punching him out of the building. He uses sonar to find her. But she made something else invisible and attacks him from behind. He uses debris to create a big sound wave. Attacking Sue. Johnny arrives badly wounded with the help of the blue angels he can’t fight. The thing also arrives but Reed insists Sue has it covered. She gives herself up to turn Ben invisible who destroys the emitter taking away his human form. He is trapped in his weapon. The f4 go back to the Baxter building and forget they had a tv show episode answering questions. They complete the interview for some extra money.

I picked this up because I like Jeff Parker's writing. This was a fun little comic book in hard cover format. The art is excellent and the story was solid. The key point of the story was "Invisible Woman is the weakest of the Fantastic Four". While that may have been true in the Stan Lee era 50 years ago - John Byrne made sure to highlight how powerful she could be with her invisible force fields and power of invisibility. Jeff Parker continues that theme here by showing Invisible Woman hold her own against Klaw - the master of sound. Not the Ulysses Klaw you know from the Black Panther movie but the one THAT character was based on from the comic books.

Nothing special but a nice read.
