Former Mr. Universe Bob Paris and topflight model Rod Jackson tell how their marriage catapulted them from physique icons to international spokesmen for gay rights.
It's a nice and definitely valuable bit of history, but it's more just like... a series of information than it is a book. These guys aren't authors and aren't particularly creative. I just imagine them sitting in a room against a solid-color backdrop and going back and forth talking, with the occasional photo overlay, as like a long interview on PBS or something. NOT saying that that's bad - I'd absolutely have watched it if it was. All I'm saying is that this is extremely basic as far as memoirs go. Its value is like *exclusively* in being gay history.
Also ngl knowing that they broke up afterward does kind of sour things lol :/ but ig that's my bad for checking the wikipedia pages before I finished reading
Hľadám nejaké informácie o tom, ako dopadli. Keď je to podľa skutočnosti, je zaujímavé, že sa o nich píše tak málo :D Napriek všetkému, kniha ma zaujala :D ešte som niečo také nečítala..
