One of my favorite books of all time. Michelangelo’s paintings are truly amazing, and it is wonderful to see them up close and be able to appreciate the detail he put into his work on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel (and other artworks) without being pushed along by a crowd of people. All of the photographs are in black and white, since the book (at least the one that I own) was published back in 1939, but they are still great quality.
