Unlike many sci-fi novels that are either set in totally dystopian setting or in alien worlds, this novel will keep you hooked thinking it is grappling the issues that are as common as today.
The narrative follows story of mainly three characters that are connected by dots of mystery, passion, need, and patriotism for their country Intauro. The fate of these three people i.e. Dr Zeerat, Kyani, and Saros converge in the plotline which ultimately examine humankind’s place in the cosmos and its ability to wreak systematic havoc on one another’s country.
The lead character Saros is a young orphaned man working as a customer care executive. The guy’s character gains limelight post a genetics experience on him. Out of million, he is chosen and trapped by Dr. Zeerat for SHARP serum. He is injected. It turns out successful. But why him? The reasons may befuddle you, but you got keep reading till the end. It couldn’t be a fluke.
The novel keeps turning engrossing as and when Saros and Kyani overcome obstacles to divulge the ulterior motives of their neighboring country. I love queer sci-fi so I immediately knew that this was going to be a book I wanted to read non-stop. Plus, I really enjoy the sci-fi with relatable content with our world. Agent SHARP is ingrained in totally a different galaxy, cosmos, and time. However, I have a hunch the problems there aren’t so queer or different than we have in our world, especially in the Indian subcontinent.
The storyline is packed with militancy, military, espionage, and scientific experiments. The author’s love for combining thriller, fantasy, and science trends is overwhelmingly visible. The novel has layers and you got to understand that. Like what…ARF…genetics serum…mythological mystery pertaining to Humos, Yaags, and...on & on.

I fell in love with the imagery that was used throughout the story and it really makes you feel immersed. I was little confused initially but with time I tagged along the story and got over the all sorts of dilemma. I could conclude that when Saros and Kyani venture in the enemy territory for saving agents, the storyline vouches for Humos vs. Agent SHARP. However, it was quite interesting and once I got used to the places and backdrop it was easier to keep track with.
The storyline is packed with militancy, military, espionage, and scientific experiments. The author’s love for combining thriller, fantasy, and science trends is overwhelmingly visible. The novel has layers and you got to understand that. Like what…ARF…genetics serum…mythological mystery pertaining to Humos, Yaags, and...on & on.

Agent SHARP by Bakchod Writer is a thrilling sci-fi novel, with a good dose of action and adventure. Dwelling on a futuristic timeline, on a planet named Roeayt in a Funny Way galaxy–this novel is pretty different from the existing league of the sci-fi books.
It follows the fate of one orphaned young man Saros in a country Intauro. Saros’ family was wiped out by Ralakat, a noxious terrorist outfit. The terrorist outfit Ralakat and the neighboring country Dintauro are hostile towards Intauro. Someone needs to find out that with exact reasons and proofs.
Post a terrorist attack, Saros is brought to the vigilance of Dr. Zeerat. Saros is tested and infused with SHARP serum. The serum suited his blood and it resulted into a self-healing immunity and body for Saros. He is sent on a mission to save agents from the grip of the Ralakat terrorists. To his company he has Kyani, a brave soldier with exceptional combat abilities.
As they both cross and fight one hurdle after another, their search for agents and the urge to get under the motives behind Ralakat and Dintauro turn out something bigger and sinister. They have to put everything at stake to save their countrymen from being wasted into riots and untimely death which is planned by a super HUMO. This one is told in multiple POVs, in present and with snatches of sweeps. Slowly but surely you find out which characters’ stories intertwine and how. I think the author’s characters are my catnip. They are always so interesting. Usually flawed, some with dark and disturbing pasts, yet witty with a touch of dry humour and there’s always one you can’t quite figure out.
The focus of the story lands on a young man “Saros”. He is transported from his home town Tesmor to the capital city New Welis…of Intauro. He is tested and trialed for a special genetic serum invented by Dr Zeerat, an enigmatic special character in the novel other than two fierce fighters. How was Saros made to come to the capital city and what events nudged him in the hands of Dr Zeerat for experimentation is surprising and I was a little flabbergasted to know how he was duped by the ARF.
The interior of the novel had a deep chasm of mysteries and secrets. Saros hated Humo. And his fate brought him to that juncture where he has to eliminate a special Humo to save his city people from being plundered, looted, and riots. The mystery behind SHARP serum is deep rooted and partially surfaced, it maintains an air of enigma till the last page where a snap of mythology claims to have its roots.
I am ultimately giving this one 4 stars even though the entire time I thought it’d be 5 stars for me. But the ending left something to be desired in my opinion and I can’t quite pinpoint why. It might have been that I had most of it figured out at that point?

However, danger is so much that it is lurking in every corner, they must fight with their special powers to fend themselves. Saros is the guy with serum injected but god knows what’s stopping him to test his own powers. He is a fit for the SHARP serum, but forever in a self-denial mode. If he didn’t live up to his improvised powers, the safety of his country Intauro looks bleak.

The plot is essentially a formulaic one involving the battle between good and evil of two neighboring countries – Intauro and Dintauro. Apart from the grand scheme of things, the quest also involves a homely relevant motive of the central character Saros. He wants to avenge the Ralakat terror group of killing his family in Tesmor. Ironically, he didn’t join the army to serve his personal cup of retribution. As soon events spiraled in such a way that he is enrolled in ARF (Anti Ralakat Force). He becomes Agent Sharp. A serum is given to him like a potion; he becomes powerful with invincible immunity. But the twist is that he doesn’t believe anyone in the system. He is prepared and trained to save agents of Intauro gone missing while chasing the Ralakat terror outfit.
In a nutshell, this book has several elements to offer. Fantasy, border dispute, secret conspiracies across the borders, terrorism, satire, fairy tale mythological connection, adventure, and a little bit of family melancholy. The author mixes it all up in a perfect blend, and delivers it in a sufficiently intriguing manner.

It begins with Saros, an honest young man working as customer care executive in Teshmor. He is living with suppressed grief after losing a loving family in a terrorist attack. He is allergic to Ralakat terrorists and Humo. He wanted to serve the armed forces just for one reason – to avenge the death of his family from the terror outfit. But he is clueless on what form life could take for him.

Marvel fans, this book is for you. It is a perfect science fiction packed with action and thrill. It that makes headway at the drop of a hat while also simultaneously posses the ability to turn heads.
Saros' family died in a terrorist attack. Fifteen years after the unfortunate and gruesome attack, Saros is now working as a costumer care executive. But he is bored. He doesn't join army as for him it was futile to go on a mission and die standing on the front line when somewhere in his mind he wants revenge. He wants to stay alive and avenge the death of his family. Fate puts him into in a situation that forces him to step up or die. He becomes a victim of the same terrorist group.©

The ARF(Anti Ralakat Force) tested Saros blood and it turned out to be a perfect match for the serum that they developed in their astronomical Project S.H.A.R.P(Superior Human with Augmented Reflexes and Physicality). He proved to be compatible for this mission!!!!
