"Like the best of Heinlein." Joe Crubagh"A good mixture of sci-fi thriller and paranormal romance..." Sara Miller"I found an exciting, engaging science fiction book that I ripped through in one night." Kenneth MooreIt started as a short scene, written for his wife on Valentines, and has evolved into a mysterious, erotic, action packed adventure. The original risqué and romantic remains, then erupts into a fast paced story that will leave you searching for a sequel.***::decrypted communication intercepted near Groom Lake, my name is Kate. I was in the CIA, but now I'm owned by the Men in Black. They own my boyfriend too. Well I guess you could call him my boyfriend. What can I say, it's a complicated relationship. He is beautiful, I love him to death, and he is half alien. That's okay, I'll give you a second to absorb that information. I mean you wouldn't know it by looking at him. He doesn't have antennae or horns growing out of his head. He does have some unusual, interesting, even challenging physical attributes, but like I said, you wouldn't know it to look at him.Life has been a bit of a whirlwind since we met. I've learned a lot of things I wish I could unlearn. Like who really controls things on the earth and how dangerous it can be for those who find out. My life expectancy has probably decreased exponentially since Adam and I met, but I wouldn't trade the time we've had for anything in this world. Or any other world for that matter.Adam doesn't have much of a choice, and since I love him neither do I. Fighting back is what he was created to do. I'm going to do everything I can to make sure he lives through it, and hope I do too.***"It's just the right balance of sci-fi, sex, action, sex, humor & oh yeah...sex.""Fifty One is a very enjoyable, fun and thought-provoking adventure..."

Author Pax Rolfe is a true modern-day renaissance man. He has traveled and lived worldwide, including such exotic locals as South Korea and Africa.

A true raconteur, he loves to commiserate with friends and strangers telling stories, engaging in rational discussions about anything from cycling and racing cars to the wonder and amazement of being married to a fantastic woman.

His first novella, Fifty One: Provenance, is a sexy science fiction adventure. It is a balanced mix of romance and action that will engage both male and female readers.

Fifty One: Provenance reminded me of the best of Heinlein, without imitating him. This page-turner provides a lot of humor with high action, witty dialogue, and plenty of twists and turns and surprising developments to bump the entertainment meter off the scale.

Like Heinlein's Stranger in a Strange Land, it's spicy and risqué, asking big questions and taking an objective outsider's look at humanity's sexual morals which often seem a bit silly when put under the logical microscope. Like The Moon is a Harsh Mistress, there are plenty of political overtones and a revolution brewing unlike anything the Earth has seen before. Without giving too much away, this book set the stage for a series of books (I hope...) involving an interplanetary battle for the fate of humanity.

This is not futuristic sci-fi--the plot of Fifty One is planted firmly in the present--it could be taking place behind the scenes right now. Fifty One is a very enjoyable, fun and thought-provoking adventure, and I'll be picking up the next in the series as soon as it's available.

Fifty One: Provenance is an action adventure/sci-fi novel about Adam, who was created in a secret government lab from alien DNA. Enter Kate, a CIA agent with the guts to volunteer to be Adam's "first." Their partnership is tested when they venture off of the base into the real world for the first time together. The novel is smart, exciting, sexy and funny.

I'd recommend this even if the author wasn't a friend of mine. But, since he is...I'm going to tell you to shell out 99 cents and BUY THE BOOK!
