The Haunted Mansion features some of the most beloved special effects ever created at Walt Disney World, but beware of hitchhiking ghosts! MAGICAL MOMENTS The Haunted Mansion is especially spooky at night, particularly if it s raining. Seek out Madame Leota's tombstone in the graveyard (it s the one closest to the entrance). Keep watching and soon you'll see a creepy surprise... The ballroom sequence is the most magical part of the ride. The spectacle of a myriad of ghosts dancing about is not to be missed! The graveyard scene is also a (ghoulish) delight. You ll want to visit again and again to see everything. Beware of hitchhiking ghosts! Part of the fun in experiencing the Haunted Mansion is seeing which ghost ends up joining you in your Doom Buggy. TOURING TIPS In the stretching room , stand near the wall that s underneath the painting of the woman holding the pink parasol. When the wall slides open you'll be among the first to board your Doom Buggy.
This was actually my daughter's book but it was something we read together. It was a good tool to get her (age 9) involved in the planning of our Disney Trip. We took the book with us and she looked at in the hotel in the evenings. This was the first trip that we didn't mess with autographs (she has done it several times previously) and since we don't do pin trading, this was a way to have an special, interactive Disney experience without too much work at the actual park.
This is a multi-purpose book, part journal, part guide and a playful way to document your trip. It has guide-like information but is really written for kids. There are spaces for you to rate the rides, write what you ate, collect autographs and even fun activities and tip while waiting in line on your trip.
