Wow! A little slow to start, but boy does it shift into overdrive, and then the turbo boosts in. Sexy, exciting, a bit "out there" at times, a very hard book to put down. The characters are vividly drawn, especially the the main character, a quiet girl that becomes a bad-ass woman as she steers herself and her boyfriend down perilous roads populated with lowlifes, perverts, dangerous mobsters, a sex-cult, and shady truck stops.
Kolsen writes fiercely and fearlessly in a style that would have been right at home in the heyday of pulp-fiction action adventures, but updates the genre with a modern finish. Just the type of book you need on vacation, a road trip, or just when you want to get immersed in a fun and dangerous adventure. It does get a bit spicy, but never goes over the line in my opinion, but if you're easily offended, pulp-style books probably aren't your bag anyway.

Spicy. Not everyone's cup of tea, but it's a fun fresh take on the classic pulp-fiction action novel with danger, perverts, chases, mystery, a sex cult, and a love story.
The author's unique take on the action/crime drama/love story novel is riveting and a little weird, but the character's are relatable.

From start to finish… Wow what a whirlwind! If you’re looking for a fast-paced, action packed story with more twists and turns than a mountain back road, then this is the book for you. KJ Kolsen is well on their way to becoming a household name with this book! BRAVO!

Pulp fiction to be certain. Faced paced action thriller with Mafia, a heroine and her boyfriend being chased due to familial issues ( Dad ratted out Mafia Boss.) . Went off the deep end in the middle with a male fantasy sex cult and then back on track with a happily ever after ending.

This page-turner hooked me from page 1. Very well written and intriguing plots. Definitely recommend this one.

This was a unique story. A bit simple, but made for a quick and easy read with an interesting plot.
