My first time reading Ms. O'Neill's writing. It didn't quite meet my expectations, but I'm a bit under the weather which surely affects my enjoyment. I certainly hope that this is book one of a series, because, as my Mama always said about Hitchcock movies, "But it didn't END"!! I would like to know more about what happened to the girls after being rescued. What connected these little stories to the one "big picture" story. Why were Liz & Linda drawn into the story? I know to rescue the girls, but why them instead of 2 others? Two men? Two law men? Or, as the trend today seems to be, 2 teenagers with weapons out the wazoo! The main thing I wanted to see is for the perpetrators to be caught & sentenced to the maximum the law can do!! I too, read the Gear novels so no explanation is needed by me, but people who haven't read them may need some background filled in. The subject of Human Trafficking is so rampant these days "it ain't funny"! I'm awaiting "Sound of Freedom" to be on DVD. If everyone sees it & read more books on this subject, maybe more can be done to stop this evil! Please Lord, protect women, young girls, & children of both sexes from these monsters! Amen

I Love a good story

The story was so fun, I was afraid the topic was going to make it unbearably sad, but even with the plight of the Native Americans the book was always hopeful. Very good writing looking forward to more.
