I have to say this diet worked and continues to work for me. It is easy to understand with some basic principles to follow. You may eat as much of the prescribed food that you want which I find a relief since other diets I find restrictive. A typical day is porridge in the morning made with hot water to which I add a little salt and pepper - no milk. Lunch can be a little tuna with salad and the latter is unrestricted. Supper may be a steak with vegetables - no sauces, no potatoes, no bread. There are no biscuits, cakes and such like. Curiously there is no fruit in the first stage. One also has to be careful about alcohol and I have chosen not to have any sugar in my beverages. After a few days I have lost 4 lbs!!
