Before I share my thoughts on this book and why I gave it 3/5, I want to let you know that I’m primarily focused on development operations, monorepos, CI/CD, supply chains, etc. I’m not really into the Android ecosystem, so I only read a part of the book.

Some chapters were really interesting and helped me expand my knowledge. Others were a bit too deep for me, so I skipped them.

But that doesn’t mean the book is bad! I really liked how it was structured. If you’re an Android developer or a cybersecurity specialist, I highly recommend this book.

It starts with a basic overview of Android security, then goes into the real-life case studies and stories about the threats that were discovered over time.

Finally, it covers how AI/ML is helping to fight these threats.

So, if you’re a cybersecurity specialist or an Android developer, this book is definitely worth checking out. I highly recommend it!
