This is an amazingly beautiful book to look at, yet the brilliance of Tanya Kimberly Orme's visual artistry is dwarfed by the power and resonance of her words ..... or more to the point by the evident spirit that created those words. Not a book to attempt to read from cover to cover in a couple of days for there is just too much wonder, too much depth on every page to absorb and think about. Rather a book to savour; to keep on the reading table for those periodic quiet moments when the soul is ready to receive a new message upon which to dwell and from which to learn. This is not just an evocative journey through the brilliant life of an extremely talented young person taken from this world far too early; it is a journey through one's own essence as each page renders something new and different that will flow subtly through the private thoughts of the reader.

A book not for everyone, but for those open to having their consciousness evoked into sentience through the unusual experiences and soulful philosophy of another arguably put among us briefly for just that purpose.

A keeper for sure, but also a great gift for someone to whom you want to recognize and praise their spirit, their soul, their own sentience.

Her desire to "some day write a story about my travels" never came to fruition, due to her sudden, tragic death.

This is that story, Tanya's book, which was compiled from her paintings and many travel journals.
She was an artist, poet, musician, sailor and world traveler, graduating summa cum laude in 2007 with a degree in Anthropology. Passionately creative and spiritually evolved, Tanya studied world religions and respected their various values. Her artistic abilities and humanitarian love fueled the paintings she created and sold, giving every spare dollar to charities in a relentless quest to aid hungry children.
