The celebration of the art of looking good has always demanded talent, vision, and style, and the artists recruited to fill the pages of Vogue since 1909--when it was taken over by Conde Nast-- have possessed these qualities in abundance. Their brilliant drawings chronicle not only fashion but also the whole comedy of manners that is the international social round, and this sumptuous volume collects the very best of them.
