And I did it - I challenged faith and asked for everything I once lost. Two days later, I found myself under arrest for a double homicide, and the victims were the monsters who kidnapped, abused, and tortured my girl to death. I had a motive, the know-how, and no alibi. I was a doctor- I'd given an oath to save lives, not taking them away, but I was also a man who had sworn to end the bastards. Guilty? Or not guilty? I admit it- quite a dilemma for the authorities. Nothing personal, but I wasn't exactly willing to cooperate. What if I did it? Who could blame me if I did kill them?. And the perfect crime was blamed on me- no fingerprints, no DNA samples, no eyewitness, no trace left behind. Yes, I was risking going to jail, but the only thing that mattered was winning my girl back. Would she stand by me in thin and thick? That's what I wanted and, since the game would be played on my terms, it was up to me. Right?
I never give up but fight ruthlessly till the bitter end. You all know that well by now. I corrected most of my mistakes; yet, there are some more I still needed to pay for, and some dark secrets might separate us forever. I’ll do my best to avoid it, but one never knows. Should I tell her the truth, though? Is there a right time to talk about my lousy actions? She lost everything she’d worked hard for; I was investigated for double homicide, risking going to jail and never know my own child. Guilty or not guilty? The time to answer that question had come. What you might not know about me is that I’d walk through hell for my girl. Am I ready for one more battle? Sure. Let it come.

I've always been an eager reader and loved books - all of them in any genre. There’s no such thing as an under-appreciated book; they all deserve time and appreciation.
I write for 10 hours a day but always find time to read. I'm never tired enough to stop writing. Writing not just energizes me, it thrills me. Life inspires me, with all its ups and downs, struggles, and light. Human nature inspires me, too. The way one lives, loves, thinks, expresses himself is pure magic and deserves to be appreciated in a book.
Being more "human-oriented" my life's always been a turmoil of changes and turning points, but reading and writing were my constants; therefore, I tunneled my energy to that. And here I am.
Creative writing has been my hobby since I was a kid. Last four years it has become a way of life, needing more time to write but never having enough.
Fellow writers, follow your path passionately. There will be times you feel discouraged, sleep-deprived, and tired. Nevertheless, it'll worth it. Keep in mind that you are not just writers but creators of magical worlds people out there are yet to discover.

I enjoyed all 3 of these books. The characters were great!!! Well written Book with just the right amount of spice. I'm looking forward to more of this series.

Great Must Read Book
This book is the Collection Edition, (of all three Books, in one), but if you want to read all these Separately, you can. I rather the Collection, because, I don't have to stop. Please read the triggers, in this book, PLEASE.
This book was different, from most romance books. This book is So beautifully written. This book tackle, abused, mental health, trauma, love, quilt friendship, family is more than blood, tryst, and so on. You will feel deep emotions, sexual tension, it will make you think.
This is Nick and Madeleine story. 💓 them.

I definitely, recommended this book. You will feel all kinds of emotions, and Will love this book. This is A Must Read.

This collection is the story of Nick and Madeleine. This book has me hooked from page 1. I felt, it was well written and had well developed characters. This book deals with some with some difficult subjects (abuse, mental health, family, etc.). This is an unusual romance. Nick and Madeleine have issues in their past the must deal with before they can have a true relationship. They also have many friends and family members who try to help them work through their issues.
I highly recommend this collection. I would recommend looking at all of the triggers before you dove into this book.

Piece of my Heart: Collected Edition is all three books in one (Guilty, Detained, and Justified). These books can be read separately, but I liked this because I didn’t have to stop and pick up another book to continue the story without stopping to grab the next book. This book is action packed and written so well. I love how the main characters overcome their past and their support system is amazing. I cannot wait to read more by this author.

This is a collection of three different stories and while I could of read them separately I didn't want to wait to read more. I felt so many different emotions while reading them I did have to take a moment to go over what I just read. There are some triggers throughout the stories so be sure to go over the trigger warning before beginning and be prepared for a Rollercoaster of a ride.

This is a collected edition. It covers books 1-3 that can be read separately. It was a beautifully written and beautifully tragic story of coming together and overcoming horrid pasts. It was truly a magnificent experience.
