read this whole textbook for my first year of psychology classes in college and thought it was structured very well. the two authors offer good insight as well as relevant examples that back up their insights. the biology behind psych chapter was in particular set up the best in my opinion and was digestible, as was most of the book which is what makes it so perfect for intro classes. i also thought the touch at the end was very sweet because it really made the 600 pages so worth it. i feel i have learned much!
There were a few moments that made me grind my teeth but this is a decent introductory textbook that was mostly pretty pleasant to read. There’s a clear religious bias but not anti-evolutionarily so
