April 30, 2014Well, good girl going bad; Giselle Karan, twenty-six and a virgin, who never thinks about sex finds herself with it taking over her mind. A mind that she controls herself. She is taken in by the calypso music, a clear reminder that carnival is near.
She finds herself staring a man braking stones one morning on her way to work. unconscious to her, she wine as she crossed the road. then the embarrassing moment came, she's caught staring. to make matters worse, the incident is distracting her from her work; a big project for CMC the company for which she works.
as she tries unsuccessfully to expel the thoughts of men from her mind, Robert Cardinez; a sneaky and fast moving managing director; startled her. after a brief conversation which she hoped would have lasted shorter, she got back to work.
Spengler "Bagasse" Payne gave a speech to the staff. Miss Karan invites her good friend Sharma to lunch, but she declined. she then went alone and saw the same worker she had seen earlier. she's is distracted and all knock to death but the worker, Vishnu Traboulary, saved her, drove her home and recommend a soothing bath.
This book by Kevin Baldeosingh is a true story of a virgin triangle as Karan is struck between the love for a savior and construction worker and a Managing director.
