C'est un premier éclairage sur la vie de robespierre. Cela fait froid dans le dos. Comment petit on aujourd'hui admirer cet homme. Il annonce tous les dictateurs communistes du xxeme siècle !

Very interesting book and one of the most controversial figures of the Revolution. There is a fine line between dictatorship and justice and that line Maximilian Robespierre did not understand.
His understanding of human rights and justice did not pas the "theoretical wall" and ended up making himself unintentionally a criminal and executer of high ranking officials and generals in the name of justice. Although he remains "the incorruptible" leader of the people but his weakness lies in his lack of distinction (or combination) between the ideal and reality...
