What makes me smile? Less than a third of this book. Brimming with white, middle class privilege, Western normativity, and neurotypical assumptions, it’s full of “simple pleasures” that destroy the earth and/or are unhealthy, hurt people economically enslaved, and activities that require economic, social, and racial privilege.
This book does not make me smile.
