This is a fascinating and very valuable analysis of Major League Baseball players' fielding abilities. Every fielding chance is scrutinized and rated in putting together this tome. There are ratings by position, treatises on fielders and performances. One drawback is that the presentation is somewhat chaotic, and it's not easy to find the positions or the players you might be looking for.

Also, Derek Jeter lovers might want to avoid. He is (rightly, I think) blasted for being a monstrously overrated fielder.

It's also fairly obvious, I suppose, but this volume becomes outdated really quickly.
