This short story collection features true tales of crimes and investigations around the world. I really enjoyed the author's different styles to tell the stories and the book contains lots of facts throughout too.
It's an interesting read, and one of many true stories books from this series.
If you can, listen to this one as an audiobook because the narrator does an excellent job on one voice in particular- that of an irate rural Australian woman. It was too damn funny! I liked that I had only heard of one of the cases that was covered (the Lindberg kidnapping) and that they ranged in topics - jewel theft, corporate blackmail, murder, poisoning, etc.
A good quick read, with a variety of interesting true crime stories from the perspective of detectives around the world. I loved the one on police criminals.
