She remembered the Sunday school lessons; Jesus would come into your heart, where you can be accepted as a true child of God. A simple prayer could be the answer to that empty black abyss she was feeling deep in her core and her escape from the fiery lake of fire. She felt despondency feelings on other days and tried to escape the rashness and loneliness by being impulsive and distracting herself with earthly vices which did not satisfied her.
Such as alcohol, an icy cold beer, a sweet tasting liquor, a sniff, a huff, a shot of a chemical, a drug, Marijuana, LSD, Heroin Ecstasy, to escape the empty lifeless void, the loneliness that was nagging her in the pit of her inner being.
A voice came to her, telling her that an ache can’t be cured, by any earthly means, not alcohol, not drugs, not sex. Not by partying, overworking, finding escape routes that led to nowhere. These impulsiveness actions would bring nothing, except humiliation and severe regrets.
Words continued to flood her mind. A soul that is saved by a simple prayer can have an everlasting peace. Peace so overwhelming, there can be chaos all about, as long as you believe and have faith, you will be safe. You are loved. Eileen was thinking about her selfish actions of late, ignoring her friends. not helping with the tragedies that her friends were experiencing.
All of a sudden she felt her body being transported to a house. She looked around, realizing she was in Steven’s home. She remembers a previous conversation she had with her friend Steven, half listening, not paying total attention. He was telling her that his father hear a knock at their front door, it was the IRS looking to garnish his dad's salary, planning to deduct too much money, now he cannot pay the mortgage and they were about to lose their home.

I was born in the Bronx, worked with the homeless and mentally handicapped most of my career. When I retired I decided to write to pass the hours, first as a hobby, over time it became a passion.

Right now I am dabbling and forming short novellas and full length fantasy novels, uncompleted works. I have one completed, Message to My Children published at Smashwords and Amazon.com.

Lately everyday thoughts popped into my head and I am writing or promoting other authors, artists and readers at my shared page on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/pages/Messag... and on my blogs.

I graduated from college with a Psychology and Human Services Associates degree and in the past was a writer for vital causes and an advocate for the underdog.

My first priority is being a mother, and friend to my three teenagers, second to share knowledge with others and promote other authors and assisted readers to find books in their genres and everyone is happy.
