This is my first encounter with the concept of Emergent Design. Found it useful especially since my work is more OD-related. Like how we act and decide as we go along, through running POCs, engaging stakeholders, gathering data, and ultimately driving what we want in a way that makes sense of where we are at now as an organisation rather than trying to put forth a sweeping change.
Also a good overview of the journey towards establish data science capabilities in the organisation. To me what made it particularly useful was the very practical and realistic approach taken by the authors that reminds us to not act with our heads in the clouds.
