This book is a guide to all Excel Formulas and Functions, How you can use them as well as tips and tricks to getting the most out of them.
In Microsoft Excel, a formula is an expression that operates on values in a range of cells. These formulas return a result, even when it is an error. Excel formulas enable you to perform calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. For example, =A1+A2+A3, which finds the sum of the range of values from cell A1 to cell A3.
Functions are predefined formulas that perform calculations by using specific values, called arguments, in a particular order, or structure. Functions can be used to perform simple or complex calculations. You can find all of Excel's functions on the Formulas tab on the Excel function syntax. Excel Formulas and Functions
