The American Class System: Divide and Rule

Rate this book
According to "Book News", "Kalra commits the American heresy -- he not only identifies the structure of the class system, but he goes on to show how it controls income, taxes, savings, subsidies for education, healthcare, and the "American" way of life. Thoroughly researched and clearly written for a wide audience."

The industry of the poor, the sloth of the rich. Not many books delve into the complicated subject of class in the US, and thankfully Kalra excels in his writing and research. Although written in 1995, it still has much to offer. It’s clear that the country is still on the same destructive path, which will eventually destroy the economy. And like The Coup songs goes: we’re “getting hustled only knowing half the game.”
