TITAN 1: STRONG AMERICAN ENGLISH FOR ESL STUDENTS
Titan 1 is the first book of the Titan series designed to teach American English to ESL (English as a second language) students by using techniques that polyglots use when learning a new language, that is, in the most natural form possible, focusing on context and language and discarding grammar explanations entirely. Expressions, phrasal verbs, and idioms are taught from day one, and students are exposed to the language the way it is, with no levels or limitations.
The series follows the story of Brandon Reed, a computer sciences senior at UCLA who is a daredevil in his leisure time, taking extreme sports to the highest limits. Also, we follow Kristen Palmer, an Archaeology senior at UCLA whose path crosses with Brandon Reed and who has her life changed forever.
Titan 1 is not like the other ESL books. You will notice that from page 1.
