A writer of action thrillers and adventures, mostly WWII inspired by secret agents of the SOE. My first book, "Resistance" (2007) was short-listed for the Branford-Boase Award, and my highly-acclaimed award-winning Special Operations Series (4 titles) has been followed by various short-format illustrated EDGE titles for Franklin Watts (Hachette). I am currently working on a swashbuckling novel set during the Glorious Revolution of 1688.

‘Special Ops: Dead or Alive’ is the 4th book in the series of ‘Special Ops’ books by Craig Simpson.

In the book, three kids go undercover in Nazi occupied France to find a Special Ops agent that went missing with a briefcase full of money!

My favourite part of the book is quite early on where the agents had to sneak into the Nazi generals’ office to forge a letter from him.

The book can be as funny as it is serious and I recommend it to anyone that likes World War II and/or action books.
