At first I really enjoyed this book. The story of a young wealthy American boy living in Paris whose parents are off doing their own thing. He is left with two elderly grandaunts and his gypsy nanny. Their adventures together and apart were entertaining. But as the boy grows their relationship takes a disturbing turn that was off putting.
