A beautifully hospitable friend let me borrow this book after I told her how much I enjoyed her parties. And honestly I enjoyed this book WAY more than I thought I would! I loved the stories and practical advice, and it was also really interesting comparing the culture this book was written in to the culture of today (1990's vs 2020). I was shocked at how spiritually convicting, uplifting, and informative this book was and am glad I read it. :)

Was given this book by HPBC who is trying to be more of a Go Tell church instead of just Come Hear.
It is a great book that encourages us to get out of the comfort zone of church friends only and to be international about friendships and sharing the gospel. And how you can use your home to do it.
It was kinda funny in places:
In 1949 when we had Billy Graham over...
Be sure to invite your Jazzercise class over.
And I did wonder where her kids were as she planned massive parties at the country club...
Overall a good read with good ideas.
