Marayat Rollet-Andriane (née Krasaesin (Thai: มารยาท กระแสสินธุ์) or Bibidh (Thai: มารยาท พิพิธวิรัชชการ; RTGS: Marayat Phiphitwiratchakan)), known by the pen name Emmanuelle Arsan, was a Thai-French novelist, best known for the novel featuring the fictional character Emmanuelle, a woman who sets out on a voyage of sexual self-discovery under varying circumstances. After her death, it was claimed that the real author of the book was her husband, diplomat Louis-Jacques Rollet-Andriane.
In addition to her writing career, she appeared in the movie adaptation of The Sand Pebbles (1966) and an episode of The Big Valley. Her screen name was "Marayat Andriane".
She passed away at the age of 73 in 2005. she was survived by her husband (who passed away three years later) and their two daughters.
