If you are the teacher or parent of a child with TS or OCD, I imagine this book will be something of a godsend.

If you, like me, do not have these disorders and are looking for a comprehensive overview of these disorders so you can better understand them, then you will also find this book extremely useful.

This book goes into depth with examples, as well as providing a quick, easy-to-read, bullet-point format that gives the information you seek. I found it to be immensely informative and in depth.

So in-depth, in fact, that many of the OCD symptoms rang bells from my past and present. Although my symptoms don't (usually) interfere in my life the way the disorders plaguing the example students do, I could easily relate to the way these students must feel when compelled or stuck.

If you're looking to learn more about Tourette Syndrome, OCD, or the way the two disorders often arise and interact with each other, this book will be very useful.

Perfect book to read and take notes from for my son's IEP meeting at school. Better information than I have gotten from any doctors we have seen.
