Hollywood dreams, nightmare reality...

Lin Turner had made all the right choices in furthering her acting career. She was becoming a skilful player in the Hollywood game, a winner who needed only time to reach the heights of stardom. Her marriage to real estate tycoon Lawson Grant seemed the culmination of all her dreams - until tragedy struck. Lin's young son was killed in a freak accident and, overcome by depression, she abandoned her career and withdrew from the glittering social scene in which she and Lawson had shared top billing.

And then her husband's behaviour began to change in subtle , disturbing ways. Or was she imagining it? Had the fantasy world she'd inhabited for so long affected her perception of reality?

Obsessed by the need to escape the man she was learning to hate and fear, Lin had run out of options. Reaching out for help, she turned to the one man in her life on whom she knew she could always depend....

I bought this book for a buck years ago, so wasn't sure how it was going to be, but I was surprised. It was a fast read, almost like a Jackie Collins novel or Harold Robbins, if you like those kind of books you would like this one...
