This review is for a different book by the same author, which is not listed on Good Reads. It was so good that I wanted to review it somehow.
ISBN: 978-983-812-158-3. Title: Kinabalu- the Natural History, Ecology & Biodiversity of A World Heritage Mountain.
I read the above mentioned book whilst I was travelling in Borneo and had Mount Kinabalu on the itinerary.
The book is outstanding. It is rich in information and deserves praise. The level of detail was similar to that of a earth sciences text book but reduced in volume to focus only on the mountain and surrounds.
I learned much more than Kinabalu such as mountain climates, flora, fauna and geomorphology.
I recommend this book to anyone who visits Borneo or likes mountains.
