I enjoyed this simply put book. It helped me to lay tasks out on the line that were really weighing down on me and release them. The day I did the meditation I was able to confidently get tasks done that I had been putting off before becasue they seemed so difficult. In reality they werent. I liked the cd that came with to guide along in the meditation practices and that there are short time spans to do the meditation in such as 1,5,10 and 20 minutes
I've been looking for a while for a good basic introduction to meditation. I think I found it in this book, written by a college professor. Reading it felt like attending a Meditation 101 class, and comes complete with diagnostic quizzes on how much of a multi-tasker you are and your meditation motivation, tips on how to create an inspiring meditation space, specific exercises to practice, and an audio CD for guided meditation.
Seema A: I found the book helpful. The author focuses on mindfulness, tips and exercises to help regain focus and memory in a world filled with pings and rings. Even though multitasking has become the way of life for most humans, the author does not hesitate to shed light on its negative impact on our lives.
