I took Tai Chi Chih for several years over a decade ago and I always found it soothing yet invigorating. During Shelter in Place, I have explored various fitness options as well as contemplative practices. Tai Chi Chih offers a hybrid though it's definitely more meditative than contemplative or fitness. This simple guidebook offers some historical background and step by step tutorials on the basic movements from the practice's founder. I had a vintage edition that did not include Bird Flapping Its Wings but YouTube has plenty of practitioners, most Justin Stone students, who can fill in the blanks.
Seems interesting looking forward to adding this to my mindfulness practice. I appreciate some of the explanation. I think this will help my meditation practice and my mindful movement practice
