Martha Kirkland is a graduate of Georgia State University and has taught both English and drama at the high school level. A classical singer, she believes it was the years she spent practicing scales that gave her the discipline needed to write twenty-six books. She is a lifelong resident of Atlanta, and her family includes a husband and two daughters.
An Inconvenient Heir has a little mystery, action and romance. I enjoyed both of the lead characters and the fast paced story. The romance was clean but with a little spark which is what I look for in a romance.
It was a pretty good read. A bit contrived at moments, but nothing terribly frustrating. It was one of the first in my research reading in preparation for writing a Regency Romance.
