Finding that general Jewish histories slight the era and the age group, Bloomberg offers high school students a textbook on the Jewish Middle Ages. His goal is to provide a readable narrative, to expose students to some of the classic texts of Jewish literature in translation, to stimulate them to address some of the questions raised by those texts, and to motivate them to study the matter in greater detail.
