This is the book that taught me to read.

Another book I remember with affection from my son's toddler years. He borrowed this book himself from the Seattle Public Library bookmobile that visited his daycare in our neighborhood--a wonderful service! When I wanted Jonathan to hurry, which seemed like it was all the time, I would encourage him, "Run, little monkey! Run, run, run!" It was fun for both of us.
