Still popular today, each book presents a well-written story with a solid theme. Frances isn t a perfect character, but a very realistic one. Her daily life presents opportunities to discuss and reinforce a positive approach to solving life s little dilemmas. Valerie Bendt gives you the opportunity to use the series to teach positive character qualities through discussion, reinforce language skills, phonetic knowledge, and beginning reading and writing.
