An illuminating read for the serious student of Advaita Vedanta. Very lucid, comprehensive and readable exposition of the means of valid knowledge leading to Self realisation. A gem of a book that will help to clear up any areas of incomplete understanding or confusion regarding Advaita teaching.

Also useful in comparing Advaita Vedanta to other schools of Indian philosophy. The author obviously is, in addition, knowledgeable in Western philosophy which is touched upon when relevant. My respect for Advaita Vedanta, already high, has only been enhanced by this book. I'm keen to read more by Swami Satprakashananda.
